I've included the above photo in random posts, maybe 47 times in my blogging career. But someone recently decided to improve the photo for me. He didn't mess with the colors, but he did a nice job on that tear and the wrinkles, don't you think?

 

 

And while he was at it, he improved the following shot of my mom as a child in 1922, being held by her adult sister, Josie -- a photo which you may or may not recognize from this post -- as much as he could. Again, I think the result is worth sharing...

Just Plain Scary!

Yes, that's right, fellow babies, that's Britney Spears. On my blog!

Why?

I just read a very scary article. To add insult to injury, it's a 3¹⁄₂-year-old article. Here is the link to it! If you don't want to click on the link, the gist of the article is that Ms. Spears made a guest appearance on the TV show Glee back in 2010. The article contains gushy quotes from Glee's cast members about how they grew up listening to Britney's music.

Here's a quote from Heather Morris: "When I was younger she was, like, my idol. I am, like, literally an inch away from Britney Spears, who I used to watch on television and, like, learn dance moves to. ... It's Spearstacular."

Yep, like, Ms. Morris really, like, said that.

How effing young do you have to be to have grown up listening to Britney Spears' music?!?

I feel very old now, thank you very much.
