Chickening Out ~~ A "Flash 55" Post




"Chicken again?" he said to his wife. "Almost every night, chicken! Fried... roasted... chicken salad sandwiches... chicken soup...! How about a nice steak, or some pork chops?"

"Excuse my interruption..." said his wife. "The economy's been picking up. Did you bother looking for a job today?"

"Uhhh, no..."

"So, you were saying...?"

"Pass the chicken."

  1. Hey Fox...wherefore art YOU from? Oh yes, that town in New England, I played that burg years ago with the Cincinnati Symphony--but I do not remember it, was too drunk at the time. In fact, they called it Boston back then--grin!

  2. @Steveroni: Massachusetts may be small, but it's not that small, as I love pointing out to my regulars! I've always lived about 50 miles away from Boston... and I don't speak like a Kennedy, either! ;-)
