My mother, Anita Lynch, when she was --
gasp! -- slightly younger than I am now!
Short, sweet, and to the point, fellow babies:
Today my mother turns 92 years old. It's been a rough, hectic year or so... but we all made it.
Happy Birthday, Mom!
Thanks for your time
Well, Happy Birthday Mom! What a beauty in that pic! And congrats to both of you for surviving the year! Hope the day is happy and the coming year is better!

ReplyDeleteWish your mom a "Belated Happy Birthday," from The Skipster!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everybody, for your birthday wishes to my Mom. Earlier this afternoon, I printed out my little tribute page and all the attendant comments -- except for Skip's later arrival, which will be duly reported to her the next time I see her -- and she was quite impressed to have received congratulations from literally all over the world! Her eyesight is pretty bad -- she's legally blind -- but I read everything to her. Thanks again, fellow babies, for providing me the means to give her an additional birthday present one day "late!"
ReplyDelete(And Cousin Saul... I doubt anyone's ever "thanked" my Mom for bringing me into the world, but if anyone's ever had a bad word to say about her, there are probably a few ex-girlfriends of mine on that short list!)
All kidding aside -- and I'm honestly not just saying this because she's my mother -- there aren't many people who'd have anything but a good opinion of her. I'm kinda lucky that way. You think I'm a bastard now, try to imagine what I'd be like if I'd had a horrible upbringing!
ReplyDeleteI'm late to the party but I did wish her happy b-day on fb so...ummm...
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Mother Lynch! *confetti*
When I see my mother later today, I'll relay all the new wishes. And Cake... Your check's in the mail.
ReplyDeletebelated wishes to your mom! making it to 92 is an amazing accomplishment. hopefully this next year will be smooth going and less hectic!!
ReplyDeletewow gorgeous pic....what a treasure
