Hold it! Hold it! Don't read this entry until you've read my previous post ("previous" meaning, like, only 90 minutes earlier, fellow babies)!
Part One:
One hour (almost to the minute!) after I posted my previous column here -- scroll down to read it -- I was told that actress Gale Storm (My Little Margie) had died at the age of 87!
Stop dying, celebrities!!!
I mean... Sheesh! This sure is a lousy time to be an actress, musician, announcer, or alleged pedophile, innit?
Part Two:
Two of the recent celebrity deaths have uncomfortable similarities. I mean, I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories, but come on, now!
Here's the evidence, fellow babies:
Billy Mays:
1. Died at home.
2. Was 50 years old.
3. Was a white man with an unnaturally -- i.e., dyed -- black beard.
Michael Jackson:
1. Died at home.
2. Was 50 years old.
3. Was a black man with an unnaturally white skin.
Coincidence? I think not!
Thanks for your time.

Only you could make such a bizzare connection.
ReplyDeleteS.F. you would have to do a play on the whole Lincoln/Kennedy thing, wouldn't you. I think maybe Billy got something from all that hair dye( to die from dye? ).
ReplyDeleteBut noooo! I just told Mom about Gale Storm...oops!
Did you read the previous post, Subby?
ReplyDeletelove the connections...coincidence? i think not. ha. seriously, busy week in the obits of the tabloids.
ReplyDeleteS.F., yep! Sometimes I just have to wonder....
ReplyDeleteWell, I see Blogger ate my comment on your last post. So I'll try again. There is a buzz over at The Playaz Ball that there is a virulent strain of Celeberity Flu making the rounds. Kinda makes ditch digging look like a good gig.
ReplyDeleteRonda! Good to "see" you! Missed you on Theme Thursday this week. Until I read your latest post, I thought you'd "retired" from TT figuring you'd never be able to top your "Roof" entry! (Just kidding about never writing a better one, but it WAS incredible...!)
ReplyDeleteI think I'll always remember the date of Michael Jackson's death because I was on holiday (plus the Greek media are nothing but Michael :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to be reading you blog again :)
xoxo
Yes! Thre is no such thing as a coincidence...everything is connected, dogs and cats are living together, the sky is falling, there's mercury in fish and the drinking water...doomed we're all doomed...!
ReplyDeleteThere are no coincidences.
ReplyDeleteThere is no spoon.
It's worse than you know! I've heard there's mercury in thermometers, too!
ReplyDeleteRIP, Gale Storm. But girl, you squandered a perfectly good stripper name--unless, of course, there was a dimension of your career of which I am unaware.
ReplyDelete@Sparkle Plenty, fear not for Tempest Storm is still around ( knock wood ). And at, what, 85? is still doing the strip tease 8^O
ReplyDeleteSparkle: I like the way you think, cutie-pie!
ReplyDeleteSubby: Tempest is still working? "Put it back on! Put it back on!"
Justjustjust posted a new one!
ReplyDeleteS.F., what's worse( possibly )Shirley Jones confirmed she wanted to pose in Playboy---at 75!The comment floor is open...
ReplyDeleteShirley Jones, at 75, huh?
ReplyDeleteDue to a recent back injury, I'm so heavily medicated right now that I don't dare respond to that concept publicly.
I'm still trying to edit my TT post before I pass out completely.
And the rain doesn't help, wot? Had mine all set up Tuesday. Thanks to all this rain, I've done up three more plus my three posts for to-day. And still working on the Humpty story...my fingers hurt!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your back; I know the feeling, believe me!
