And for an Encore...

Well, I made it through the A to Z Challenge. My total posts for the year already exceed 30, which beats the hell out of last year's total! And you may ask, what's next?

That's a good question. It's no surprise to my pre-Challenge readers -- those who remained, anyway -- that I'd been going through a bad case of writer's block for months.

Anyhoo, fellow babies, I'm going to take a few more days off and then try to come up with something worth reading about, if I can. Wish me luck...

...and thanks for your time.

  1. Congrats to you for finishing the A to Z! Sometimes, one has to put something we are working on aside, even for a long time, to refresh one's brain.

    1. Well, with only 4 posts in 2015, my brain should be pretty "refreshed" by now! :)

  3. Maybe you need to go Z to A. Or 1 to 100. 100 ways to...one a day. Easy peasy.

  7. I enjoyed your posts immensely being a former comic book store owner. :-) Now, I am going back to getting my paper heroes into more trouble in my latest book. :-)

  8. well, considering my muse has taken a couple of years off for vacation, the little vignettes in my post blogs are the first thing i've written fiction wise for a looong time. a few months isn't bad.

    you'll get the spark back.

  10. Well done that you finished the A-Z challenge - I enjoying working on my posts, but it did mean my other writing suffered neglect. Now that I can go back to weekly posts, I'll have time to concentrate on my book outline. :)

  12. A to Z took a lot out of me too, since I consider myself an infrequent blogger. I look forward to seeing what you'll do next here.

  13. Don't let Writer's Block get you down. Life happens and you need inspiration and motivation to write. Sometimes that means a period of mental stewing. You'll get there.

  14. I'm sad that you went through such a long writer's block, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who failed miserably in the blogging world last year. I am finally starting to get a handle on my life and my schedule, and am planning on getting my blog back in gear before summer. I really miss the camaraderie among the bloggers I'd started to get to know. I'll be sure to get back through your A to Z posts so I can see what I've missed!

  16. Babe, GREAT job on finishing. I did it this year with our Housewives blog, and the year prior on my own blog. SOOOOO much easier when the days are split up between people. get 'er DONE!

  18. With Trump providing so much comedic material and you still insist upon not having anything, methinks you need to gulp down a whole case of Milk of Magnesia, my friend.

  19. Congrats on finishing. You did an amazing job, your theme was challenging and fun, and for someone who had a comics deprived childhood (even grownuphood), very educational.

Writers block?? I'd never guess if you hadn't told me...but it happens, and it gets beaten too. You'll do it, don't worry, when you are ready.

    Best always,
