Overwhelmed...

(Here's a short and not-so-exciting post, fellow babies.)

Yes, as the above title implies, I've been overwhelmed. Buried, you might say. And worst of all, I'm afraid I've fallen behind in visiting all of the blogs that I read on a regular basis. That's been made a bit difficult because of this month's A to Z Challenge. As I explained here, I'm not taking place in the challenge this year, but many of the blogs I follow regularly are. And for various reasons, I've missed a day or two here and there, and it's almost impossible to catch up!

I guess the main reason I'm posting this is mostly for my own readers that are also participating in this year's A to Z Challenge. This is to inform them (or you) that I haven't deserted them/you just because my comments may suddenly become few and far between.

So much for that.

Thanks for your time.

  1. You'd never abandon the cat. Or you might find a present on your doorstep. After thinking about that, you'll be whelmed once more haha

    1. Is that "present" something you'd drop off in a Pringles can?

  2. Take your time. This past year I finally convinced myself that if I miss commenting on all the places I go online (which includes Facebook), the world won't end. The guilt isn't nearly as bad any more!

    1. Funny you should say that. I've noticed you've been commenting a lot more than usual lately. :)

  3. Hey! Don't worry about blog visits and comments etc, just relax, give whatever needs you offline the time it demands. Blogs and SM aren't going anywhere, still be there when you get back. Hope you feel less overwhelmed soon.

    Best wishes always,
    Nilanjana.

    2. She has her good days and her bad days, but she's doing a lot better than she was at the end of last year and the beginning of this one. Thanks for asking.

    4. I'll give her the message.

I tried to get her into the habit of visiting other blogs to build up her readership, but she never did.

  5. Sorry you're overwhelmed lately! Life can get crazy. Hope you get back to underwhelmed very soon, although I know a lot of it is out of your control. ;)

  6. Silver Fox, you can only do as much as you can do. Please don't stress over it. Breathe, inhale, exhale.

  7. Oh gosh, no worries and very sweet of you to write this. You need to take care of you so please don't worry and do what you need to do and take time to breathe and enjoy even if it's 5minutes something you like to do

  8. I've found myself frantic at trying to keep up with visiting the A to Z blogs right now, too, though having Easter right in the middle of it didn't do me any favors as far as discretionary time. I think you're doing just fine! (Though I would think that, since you commented on my post and are always faithful to do so.)

  9. Understand completely, and don't sweat it. Love it when you make it over, but not offended when you don't.

  10. I know what you mean about the no-linky list. I have decided to find and comment of five blogs a day - and I've had fun with it. I actually found you from a comment you posted on https://lifefaithincaneyhead.blogspot.com/ blog. I find it funny that almost strangers will come up to me and start talking to me like I'm their best friend. After listening for a few minutes I usually realize they have been reading my blog but not commenting. It's like they think there is a two way conversation. Too funny. Anyway, have a good day!

    1. Thanks for stopping to visit. I often wonder what people who read and don't comment think of this blog when they come here.

I strongly urge you to sign up for follow-up comments, because I (usually) reply to your comment! Comments left for me more than three weeks after a post is published will not appear until I approve them, but they will be answered eventually!
