This month I'm participating in the A-Z Challenge.
(For more information, click here.) My theme is Anger
MISmanagement.
Today's letter is Y.
Y stands for YELL.
Angry? Sure you are. Give into it. YELL.
FEEL BETTER NOW? GOOD!
Thanks for your time.
Those screechy yells hurt my ears.
ReplyDeleteEven in print? Haha.
DeleteA good yell now and then is healthy I believe.
ReplyDeleteBrandon Ax: Writer's Storm
You're into Primal Scream Therapy, perhaps? Ha.
DeleteNo, but a good yell in the car never hurt anyone. Better than punching a wall. lol
DeleteYour posts make me smile. DId you take a course in anger management to come up with them? :-)

Someone once suggested I take an anger management course, and... wait for it... I knocked him on his butt.
DeleteI hope I can keep your interest when this month's over!
I'm not a yeller. My mother was..maybe that's why I'm not. ha. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can see how that might push you off a bit.
Deleteyeah...and I'm scared of you when you're angry! ha. :)
DeleteYou don't have to be scared of me! What would I do, really???
DeleteI am a "yeller" on occasion. I try to control myself, but sometimes my volume just creeps up. I wouldn't say that it always makes me feel better though.
ReplyDeleteSelf-control can be affected by so many variables.
DeleteI never be a yelelr I dont like (my dad make sometimes) and when Im upsept I don't talk:)
ReplyDeleteBut never yell!
Oh, you give "the silent treatment?" :)
DeleteYes:)
DeleteOnce in a while I do let a good yell out. It's for my lungs. Seriously. No, for real. Lung health is important and that's one of the easiest way to test if it's working. So that's what I do, I swear. :P
ReplyDeleteGotta take care of those lungs...
DeleteI'm with S.K. on this one. Good lung health is essential.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED THIS POST! THANK YOU FOR GIVING US PERMISSION TO YELL!
. . . because yodeling just doesn't get the stress out in the same way.
Especially if people are laughing at you.
