J is For...

This month I'm participating in the A-Z Challenge. (For more information, click here.) My theme is Anger MISmanagement. I'll be posting almost every day in April, skipping only Sundays. Let's see how I do!

Today's letter is J.

Yesterday's letter was I, which stood for INSULT. Today's word is an insult.

J stands for JERK!

'Nuff said.

Thanks for your time.

    1. A jerk is "a stupid person or a person who is not well-liked or who treats other people badly." -- Merriam-Webster Dictionary. How's that. Gloria? :)

    1. Yeah, I agree. I thought it was the best way of illustrating my word of the day.

  4. Having not seen the movie, I didn't get the photo. He looks more like a slob than a jerk to me. ha. Interesting that we don't really call women jerks. Seems to be a male term. I've known a few, I have to admit.

  5. Well, "jerk" was a hard word to illustrate. A few of my A-Z words have been or will be like that. And you're right, I've never heard anyone call a woman a jerk.

  9. So now I'm reciting, "I don't need this or this. Just this ashtray... And this paddle game. - The ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need... And this remote control. - The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need... And these matches. - The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control, and the paddle ball... And this lamp. - The ashtray, this paddle game, and the remote control, and the lamp, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The paddle game and the chair, and the remote control, and the matches for sure.

  10. Odd word, isn't it?. Just checked the origin and it appears to be "American English carnival slang, of uncertain origin"
