Everyone knows A Charlie Brown Christmas, right? Well, maybe you recall a few years back, when someone put together the following video, using a song that, when it was popular, I literally heard every time a car drove by me and I could hear what was playing on its radio! (And I mean "literally" literally, like it should be used, not figuratively!)
That's all I had time for this year, fellow babies. My "Comical Wednesday" post will show up next week, although I may post something not related to comic books this weekend!
Merry Christmas to all of you, and for all of you who don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Whatever-You-DO-Celebrate!
Thanks for your time.
P.S. ~~ COMING SOON! (Watch for it!) A Re-Posting of One of the Best (and Longest) Stories I Ever Posted on This Blog!
Merry Christmas David and love for your sister.
ReplyDeleteI love Charlie Brown and friends!
Hope you enjoyed your holiday as well, Gloria.
DeleteMerry Christmas, David! And I'm always up for celebrations of any kind - especially the food and beverage parts. Love Charlie Brown too, my only cartoon love.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the eating and drinking are integral parts of the better holidays.
DeleteI hope you literally have a merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMine was fine, hope yours was, too.
DeleteI hope yourChristmas was Merry and May the New Year bring grand adventures into your life.
ReplyDeletePs. Loved the video
That's a great wish. Back atcha, True!
DeleteI hope your Christmas was very merry and that you were able to treat yourself to some relaxation and good times with friends and/or family.
ReplyDeleteYep. At my age, hoping to relax is almost all I have left! Hope yours went well also.
DeleteIt really did. My life is insane right up to Christmas Eve, and then I just kind of shut down for the next handful of days. We got to enjoy all three kids waking up in the same house on Christmas morning, and we're now celebrating Number Two Son's engagement. I'm going to be a mother-in-law! lol I can't wait.
DeleteNumber Two Son? What, are you channeling Charlie Chan?
DeleteYES! No one ever gets that. We refer to our kids as "My favorite [son/daughter]" no matter which one we're referring to, and will use Number One Son and Number Two Son often when referring to the boys.
DeleteMy mother had two children, myself and my sister. She always called me her "favorite son." My sister didn't get it -- ever -- and was jealous and resentful for years.
DeleteMy sister and I developed a habit in more recent years. Whenever one of us was a bit upset with our mom, or if mom had done something silly or otherwise notable, the one who was offended (or whatever) would say to the other "Do you know what your mother did today?"
DeleteHa. That's great. Our youngest is the only girl, and we always tell her she's our favorite daughter—but that by default, she's also our least favorite daughter. She gets a kick out of it.
Delete"Least favorite." I love it!
DeleteHappy New Year, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
You, too, hon. Stay home and stay safe!
