What's Wrong with This Picture?

The above-pictured postcard showed up in my sister's mail several weeks ago.

Now, I realize that these companies target endless numbers of families, and the names are computer-generated, but really...

”Lynch” is not a Polish name!

If the card had offered “Irish Apparel JUST FOR YOU!” it wouldn't have surprised me a bit. (In fact, I've received mailings like that in the past.)

So next time, guys, have your computer do its homework.

Thanks for your time.

  2. My sick mind just went to thinking if they sent this to any African American families. If they did they better be prepared for some nasty letters and I would be behind those families all the way

  3. I guess we don't have to worry about Skynet taking over just yet.

    1. I dunno... Skynet could take over and screw things up as badly as we humans have.

  4. Polish. Lynch? More likely my dad's Grandma Wisnewski (died during my dad's service in WWII--he wrote his mother and asked how Grandma Wisnewski was--she wrote back and said "she's dead"--such sentimentality).

    Love,

  5. Now would probably be a good time for a good old-fashioned Polack joke, but they've been outlawed--right?
