Nepotism time here, fellow babies!
My sister Kathy has recently decided to plunge into the waves of the internet and start her own blog. It's a blog (primarily) about gardening, called The Dirt, appropriately enough. (Click on that bold-faced link to go there!) If you have any interest in gardening, please check it out, as Kathy is looking forward to amassing readers. For that matter, if you recommend that any friends or relatives check it out as well, that will be greatly appreciated!
"I'm Kathy Lynch, and I approve this message."
(Sorry, watching too many political ads on TV lately!)
Thanks for your time.
ha. how can you avoid the political ads...
ReplyDeleteflowers are better than politicians...
just saying.
Anything's better than politicians!
DeleteKathy doesn't have an icon for followers, but I visited her blog, as requested.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I'll show her how to do that! Thanks!
DeleteOh. Google's only following widget is tied into Google+. I hate Google+.
DeleteI hate G+ for following, too, but doesn't she have a regular old followers widget like we have?
DeleteIt looks like they don't offer it to newer blogs.
DeleteThe Grammar Nazi has some competition now. Is she going to post more than you? lol
ReplyDeleteHow could she not? :)
DeleteWelcome Kathy! And I love the picture of the dog digging! I'm not into gardening but I admire people who are! I'll check her blog out.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I found a photo on the 'net of a dog that (from the shoulders down) looks like Kathy's dog! Even she thought so! (Kathy, not the dog. Butch is a "he.")
DeleteYay for Kathy!
ReplyDeleteI cannot do gardening to save my life. Maybe I'll learn a thing or two on her blog . . . running over now . . .
Thanks for visiting her. She's a newbie on the internet, so I'm providing tech support as needed.
DeleteHey I went to join but didn't see a button. Also thanks for stopping by, I am trying hard to get back into this thing.
ReplyDeleteI need to show Kathy how to set up a follower widget before it's too late. :)
DeleteGlad to see you back, by the way.
I love the picture-both of them:) I touch plants and they seem to wither. I will check it out as my hubby loves to garden
ReplyDeleteOh, so you have a "black thumb?" Heh.
ReplyDeleteI added her site to the tentative list for future inclusion in a Sites To See. As soon as she starts adding some images to her posts, I will move it to the regular list.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jerry!
