Just Plain Scary!

Yes, that's right, fellow babies, that's Britney Spears. On my blog!

Why?

I just read a very scary article. To add insult to injury, it's a 312-year-old article. Here is the link to it! If you don't want to click on the link, the gist of the article is that Ms. Spears made a guest appearance on the TV show Glee back in 2010. The article contains gushy quotes from Glee's cast members about how they grew up listening to Britney's music.

Here's a quote from Heather Morris: "When I was younger she was, like, my idol. I am, like, literally an inch away from Britney Spears, who I used to watch on television and, like, learn dance moves to. ... It's Spearstacular."

Yep, like, Ms. Morris really, like, said that.

How effing young do you have to be to have grown up listening to Britney Spears' music?!?

I feel very old now, thank you very much.

Thanks for your time.

  3. I must be really old than, because I'm way past don't care...hehehehe, even when friends or family just had to play her..." I was like, really, like why is she so hot?" Oh my goodness, I can't believe I could really make a sentence with so many "like's" in it! I'm going to go bury my head in a snowbank now! :) enjoy your weekend, without the likes of Brit!

  4. Who? Sorry, I ignore pop culture on principle, unless a voice or a song or a humanitarian act grabs my attention. From the sound of it, this person did none of the above, so she slipped under my radar. (Just kidding, I know who Britney Spears is. I just wish I didn't!)

  8. She seems to have ended her irrational and crazy ways and has grown up a bit and made a good come-back. Let's hope she can keep it together.

  10. I had mine a week before Thanksgiving, and I was really lucky. One day under observation in the hospital. I even (stupidly) drove myself to the e.r.! I know what you mean about that feeling of helplessness, though!

    1. Yep. A very mild heart attack, a week before Thanksgiving. I'm fine now. My heart attack had nothing to do with my lack of posts during the past few months, btw!
