"Awww, crap...!" Oh, well, there was a 50/50 chance of this...
Damn! Avengers: Endgame delivers, from the initial surprise that Dr. Strange faked his "dissolving" in Avengers: Infinity War just so he could work behind the scenes against Thanos, to the scene where Thanos tells Captain Marvel "My methods may have been flawed, but my motives were pure!"
So now we're supposed to consider Thanos an antihero? And as far as this whole proposed "Thanos and the New Avengers" franchise goes? I'm sorry, but I'm not buying it.
I suppose they had to try something after killing off Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor (due to all three of their contracts expiring), but... No, no, no, I'm just kidding! I won't give you any spoilers here! But the movie was incredible. Go see it for yourself, ASAP!
Thanks for your time.
Can I say "April Fool?" We are still in April...
ReplyDeleteThe twins only they want is see this movie!
ReplyDeleteThey'll love it!
Deleteyes they said they will goo next friday !
DeleteLet me know what they think of it, will you, please?
DeleteI'm NOT buying it either.
ReplyDeleteGood. Don't. I made it up!
DeleteThat would explain it!
DeleteThe whole post was a goof, Blue. I do not do spoilers.
DeleteTook me a minute. :) Did I mention a fell asleep when Captain Marvel showed up? I wonder why that is. Still liked the movie though.
DeleteI actually like the character, and as far as her under-use in the film that some have complained about, she just had a whole freakin' movie devoted to her. And Endgame had plenty of other characters to deal with.
DeleteNow I can pick my jaw back up from the floor. I KNEW you would never post spoilers!
ReplyDeleteNope, not I!
Deletehaha I saw this in the blogroll and was like nope, not reading it. But then figured you never did spoilers before so I came with one eye open and read the end first. Good to know I'm still spoiler free until I get to see it, crummy job.
ReplyDeleteI really think you'll like it. Lots of good stuff.
DeleteSpoiler alert: SJWs! They make me sick. Enough said.
DeleteHello Cat.
Hello Mr. Silver Fox.
Hello, Blue. How do you do?
DeleteHa. That was mean.
ReplyDeleteI've heard it's very well done.
Have a great weekend, Silver.
Incredible film. Great payoff to all the MCU films before it.
DeleteJust saw it with my daughter, in Switzerland no less!
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome.
I thought so, too. A very nice wrap-up of sorts for the MCU's first chapter.
DeleteGreat film..I saw this past weekend but I was so frustrated near the end. It reminded me of the time I dropped something on the floor and when I went to pick it up, my foot kept pushing it ahead. I did that 3 times before I finally picked up that paper. I need to see this film again-it was jam packed full of great stuff.
ReplyDeleteLots of great stuff indeed!
DeleteMy favorite segment was probably the side voyage to the 1970s. When Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) appeared, I nudged my friend John (who's about fifteen years younger than I am) and whispered "That's the way he looked in The Streets of San Francisco!"
And who wouldn't love Thanos' incredible armada showing up, ready to attack, right before all the Avengers-related back-up forces began arriving, whilke Captain America stood there, ready to fight every last one of them by himself until the end! And when he started swinging Thor's hammer? He's always been my favorite Marvel character.
