Sir Christopher Lee, 1922-2015, R.I.P.

He was in the Lord of the Rings movies and (some of) the Star Wars flicks -- to name just a couple of his more notable roles from a career spanning decades -- but to me, he was best known and loved as Count Dracula, in many films featuring everyone's favorite vampire!

R.I.P., Mr. Lee!

Thanks for your time.

  3. The man made Hammer Films the legend that it became. I loved him as Saruman as well, but he really should have passed up the Count Dooku gig. He'll be missed!

  4. A great actor who actually met Tolkein. He read LOTR every year since he first came upon it. I also love it that he was part of the S.O.S.( or is it S.A.S.) and worked as a spy in WW2. He could never talk about this since it was top secret but I think he was licensed to kill. I have to read up more on this.

    1. Yes, Jerry, I'm still around. :) On the other hand, my sister has had outrageous problems with a fifteen-year-old computer, so she won't be able to post for the foreseeable future.

    2. You know, a really good brother would buy her at least a much newer computer so that she could keep dishing the dirt for our benefit. I think a new Dell desktop with Windows 7 can be had for under $400 now, and I think she could upgrade to Windows 10 from there for free until July, 2016.

  8. Lots of deaths this year. I'm still reeling that the girl from Can't Buy Me Love died. She was only a few months younger than I am!
