The difference being that the original cast was absolutely faaaaaaaantastic and this one is, well, okay, I suppose. I like the new Uhura. The new Spock has zero charisma and the new Kirk just isn't as - for lack of a better word - human.
That makes you one smart and lucky man. I fell asleep watching the first installment of that cover band. Tried it again, and hated it. Maybe next time, I'll fetch myself a drink first.
